How to Prep, Wash, and Fold Your Pooters for Maximum Absorbency

Hemp Overnight and Hemp Overnight Super-Soaker

Prepping Instructions:

1. wash 2 times on hot with no detergent
2. wash once on cold with no detergent
3. dry in the dryer or air dry

Washing Instructions:

1. rinse under warm/hot water before tossing in diaper pail
2. on wash day, follow your normal wash routine
3. run one final wash cycle on COLD with no detergent
4. toss in the dryer or air dry

Folding Instructions:

Your Hemp Overnight diaper will come with 2 hemp inserts - one long insert with snaps and one shorter booster. If you ordered the Super-soaker, you also received a thick, foldable hemp insert with a fleece layer. For instructions on how to fold your diaper for maximum absorbency, read the steps below, download the infographic, or watch this YouTube video.

• Newborns: (holds 14 ounces)

1. Remove all inserts (you won't need them).
2. Fold the front of the diaper down to lock into the newborn snaps.
3. Wrap the diaper around your baby. 
4. Place diaper cover on top.

• Older baby / Normal wetter: (holds 18 ounces)

1. Remove all inserts
2. Attach the long insert with the snaps - matching the colored snaps on the inserts with the colored snaps on the diaper
3. Once attached, fold the long insert in half
4. If you have a boy, fold it in half again so its thick in the front of the diaper
5. Take the shorter insert, fold it in half, and place it on top of the long insert
6. Wrap the diaper around your baby.
7. Place diaper cover on top.

• Older baby / Heavy wetter: (absorbs 31 ounces)

1. Follow steps 1 thru 5 above for normal wetters
2. Then take your thick, foldable hemp insert.
3. Fold it in half so the white, fleece side is facing up
4. Place on top of the longer and short insert
5. Wrap the diaper around your baby
6. Place diaper cover on top.

Snapless Fitted

Prepping Instructions:

1. wash diaper and insert 2 times on hot with no detergent
2. wash once on cold with no detergent
3. dry in the dryer or air dry

Washing Instructions:

1. rinse the insert under warm/hot water before tossing in diaper pail
2. on wash day, follow your normal wash routine
3. toss in the dryer or air dry

Folding Instructions:

Your Snapless fitted diaper will come with a hemp insert that will be slightly longer and wider than your diaper. It will shrink slightly over washes to fit snugly inside of your diaper. Read the instructions below on how to fold your diaper for maximum absorbency, or watch the YouTube video below.

1. Place the insert inside of the diaper
2. Fold the front of the diaper down so it fits baby comfortably around the waist.
3. Wrap the diaper around your baby. 
4. Secure with a Snappi, diaper pin, or boingo
5. Place diaper cover on top.
