Dear Pooters Family,

Fifteen years ago, as an unemployed stay-at-home mom, I started Pooters with a dream of providing outrageously absorbent nighttime cloth diapers for families like ours - people who gave a crap about the planet and what they put next to their baby’s bum. It’s been an incredible journey, and I’ve cherished every moment of connecting with so many amazing parents.

I’ve shared with some of you the inventory challenges I had near the beginning of 2024. My long term supplier changed up the quality of the fabric and snaps and didn’t tell me. The result was disastrous to say the least. She offered to replace them for free, provided I paid for shipping, but my first payment set me back so drastically I simply couldn’t recover financially. And without confirmation that the inventory issues would be resolved this time around, plus rising costs, an additional financial investment didn’t make sense. So after much thought, I’ve decided to exit the diaper business. Starting today, all our remaining diaper inventory will be on clearance.

This decision, while heart-breaking, allows me to focus more on my family, my two little Pooters boys now in high school 😱 —and to take better care of myself. But this isn’t goodbye entirely. I’ll still be making and selling our beloved “Skin Therapy” diaper rash, yeast rash, and eczema creams, handmade with love in Texas.
